I see it as a possibility. On the other hand, the Androids at that time knew the power of Vegeta SSJ and Future Trunks SSJ, therefore, perhaps Android #17 thought that Piccolo, Krillin and Tenshinhan were on the level of Future Trunks SSJ.

I'm thinking that the M7 is an alternative history where a Cell from the Future did not arrive. Perhaps the Line in which the Future Trunks of Line 6 travels. Piccolo merges with Kamisama and together with the 3 SSJs they defeat Androids #17 and #18.

Ultimate Piccolo in the Movie is stronger than the SSJB in the DBS Broly Movie. Ultimate Piccolo in the Manga is much more powerful than Broly SSJFP.
