It seems likely that he knew exactly what the Nika Nika fruit was judging by his reaction to Luffy's Bounty poster. It feels like he was waiting for it to emerge before acting. Given that he was part of Roger's crew and that they arrived too early it matches up at least.

Ok I love the post arc chapters more than anything else in one piece. Shanks going after the One Piece, the revolutionaries taking over nations during the reverie. Sabo clearing not killing Neferteri, Momonosuke fighting an Admiral. That's the good shit man. Shanks, it almost has to be part of...

Why do anime characters repeat things so much?

It costs very little in animation. Also anime air weekly, people forget, sometimes even with al the repetition.

When do you think Dragonball should have ended?

Defeating Frieza just feels like the best place to end the series. It's a a conclusion to the story that started as soon as Raditz appeared and the build up to SSJ was so good.

What Was Frieza's Initial Power Level When First Introduced?

Welcome to debating dragonball, which is kind of why I don't do it much anymore. There are so many points the farther in you get where statements contradict. I guess you could chalk this up to Vegeta not being skilled in reading chi yet, but he already seemed pretty proficient. Chapter: 294...

What Was Frieza's Initial Power Level When First Introduced?

"My battle power is 530,000. But of course, I don't intend to fight you at full power, so you can relax..." Then vs Vegeta, Gohan, and Kuririn he powers up, and they are all shocked and Piccolo comments on a massive power increasing even more from however far away he was.

What Was Frieza's Initial Power Level When First Introduced?

Given he tanks nail and piccolo considers it massive compared to the others before he even powers up, he's flying around at above 100k at least.

There's no way Elbaf isn't going to be an arc in this final saga.

I still stand that the end of Kaido vs luffy was the only real let down for me. I was perfectly satisfied with how Kid and Law beat big mom.

Admiral Ryokugyu easily stomping Kaido's commanders

Luffy has had ridiculous recovery abilities (presumably) because of the true nature of his devil fruit the whole series. No one else recovers that fast. Zoro in particular has carried injuries into the next arc multiple times. I'm just saying it's possible. It's also possible the Admirals are...

Admiral Ryokugyu easily stomping Kaido's commanders

Well they did just recently get their asses kicked. Marineford showed that the Admirals were above commanders, but not the degree that Ryokugyu beat them. His devil fruit might just be that strong.

I disagree with that. Dressrosa is one of my favorite arcs of One Piece. The issue with post time skip is how bad it started. Fishman Island and Punk Hazard are pretty bad, and everything but Luffy vs Katakuri in Whole Cake was incredibly lame. Zou and the later parts of Wano have been pretty...

I've been re-reading Enies Lobby and it just occurs to me how dreadful a buster call was made out to be at the time. And I guess it still is something terrifying for most of the one piece world. But with the current power levels 10 warships and 5 vice admirals seems kinda laughable at this...

I feel Oda is holding off on an inevitable Rocks flashback. I'm kind of glad we didn't get a 3 chapter flashback in the middle of the fight as well.

Other than the final fight I didn't hate this arc. Not the best time skip arc, and it went a bit too long, but the good far outweighed the bad for me.

I think the context of the statement was in reference to Luffy's new form. I was really enjoying it until Sun God Luffy's fight with Kaido. Such a massive disappointment with how amazing the Katakuri fight was previously.
