I think 4x sounds ideal. It can't be considerably below as Good Boo is << 50% fat Boo and still >> SSj2... and 4x is a big gap, it doesn't need to be more than that either. I also think that the effectiveness of the fusion is directly tied to the fusers stamina because Boo could prolong the time of the fusion much more, with the more likely explanation being his stamina. Goten and Trunks were also visibly tired when they finished fusing in the RoSaT and Piccolo...

They don't have to be at FP for the fusion to occur, but it's obviously more effective that way, otherwise they wouldn't have to power up to FP for Trunks then to have to slightly adjust his chi to Goten's.

But it's also made a case that both fusers have to be at full power before fusing as Goku and Piccolo stated they had to power up to maximum. I think it was a matter of them being already at FP after 1 hour, otherwise the fusion would just not be that efficient. Goten and Trunks are also...

Yeah sorry P but you have no proof Vegeta knew 17 had CGs Trunks in mind. It's weak to use that as an uncontestable evidence. It's likely just a general, casual statement of "my present son is really strong too". I guess, since kid Trunks is way stronger than the Trunks 17 fell in one shot...

It had to do with moral perspective too, ofc, as Goku could have just defeated Boo. But in order for this moral perspective to be plausible, it should very well be workable. For instance, Vegeta wanted the GD as a moral point... but he has to be totally sure it'd work... otherwise he wouldn't...

The word "can" is used in your post. He wouldn't give the boys a try if he didn't have absolute trust in their chances of defeating Boo in a battle. He adopted this way because he had full faith in their capabilities once fused. He stated they'd definitely win this. No way around this.

Manage something doesn't have to mean it'd be a close fight. Goku or Vegeta uses the same wording to describe how their fight with Dabra would go.

Ok. And Kid Gohan is way stronger than teen Gohan... and ~ true speed Cell. Do you have Cell undergoung a big power up when rising the speed level?

But then how would teen Gohan be way weaker than kid Gohan when teen is already > the Cell who fought Goku? Surely that Cell isn't leagues below CGs SSj1 Gohan.

Started part 7 but stopped several months ago. I was finding the story elements cool and solid and it was a nice start but I wasn't kinda in the mood.

Piccolo wins without too much trouble. Kuririn could put up a little of a fight, but it wouldn't pose Piccolo with a tough time. Maybe similar to the difficult Vegeta would have killing Goku if Goku couldn't go past Kaioken x2.

Maybe he could benefit from it, it's a possibility yeah, but I'm not sure considering he got gains similar to Goku in the 5 years. Considering how strong Freeza got in Super, heaven may be the limit for them :king. Still tho, since I don't think it's that effective of a potential unlock...

Maybe it can unlock early parts of your potential. Since Goku still had that first part of his potential untapped, the water could easily bring it to surface. Perhaps it's a more superficial way of bringing it up, rather than accessing it deep down and bringing everything out like Old Kaioshin...
