I'm revealing my normie level here, but in the Ocean Dub when Yamucha broke out the "Spirit Bomb" in the Saiyan Saga. Doesn't make any sense but at the time I was a newb and I thought he looked awesome. It's pretty much what I think about when someone brings up Yamucha.

I mean, we can’t even get an old fashioned “What a tremendous Ki” like the old days. People are just transforming and powering up left and right, but it all feels the same.

My biggest issue with this arc is that it’s felt like one ongoing battle, But it never shifts gears. Transformations and power ups are nullified by the end of every chapter. Not to mention this is supposed to involve the four strongest beings in the Universe, yet everything feels scaled down to...

Probably Gas, since he was able to regain his composure and still maintain dominance over Granolah. The transformation didn’t power him up so much as stop him from holding back.

Elec or someone removed that bone ornament he’s wearing and it unleashed his berserker mode. Also Gas gets PTSD from fighting Galu because he remembers Bardock.

That's fair. Just in this series alone, he's been Super Saiyan in BoG, which was changed to Ultimate at the last minute because AT forgot about it. Then in FnF, Ultimate is Gone and Gohan barely pulls off SSJ. When we get to the ToP, Gohan can use SSJ but has to get his Ultimate form remastered...

I wonder what the explanation is for him going Super Saiyan in the first place. He got his Ultimate form back when training with Piccolo for the ToP. Though I'm sure its more a matter of needing to have SSJ in the movie because its iconic rather than for a good reason. I'm sure there's zero...
