23rd Budokai Chaozu

How strong is he exactly? Usually I put him at around Old Piccolo Daimao level, but what exactly puts him at that level? Could he be as low as 22nd Budokai Goku?

He could have trained under Karin when him and the other humans climbed Karin's tower so he would at least be above Karin.

I'd say considering he trained with the others, it's fair to say he improved immensely too. Around Old Piccolo-Diamao level, yeah.

Did the others think it was impressive of Tao to one shot Chaozu? I guess if Chaozu was that weak, the others would still know that Tao wasn't that great.

I have him around Yajirobe's level, whom I have at least at 50% old Piccolo Daimao for accepting to enter the Tournament knowing Goku defeated Piccolo. Also, does not Kami inviting him to train imply he was above Chi-Chi, who wasn't invited?

Frankly speaking though, all he needs to be is above 22nd Budokai Roshi. Him being at 22nd Budokai Goku probably doesn't contradict anything.

IIRC, Karin was the one who gave the humans the recommendations on who to train on Kami's lookout. Karin hadn't met Chi-Chi so he wouldn't know how strong she is.

In my Opinion he is weaker than Old Piccolo. I place General Tao around that level. If I have a scale it would be

Tenshinhan>Goku(Post Ultra divine water)>~Young King Piccolo>~Krillin>Yamcha>Old King Piccolo>~Cyborg Tao>>Chazou.

So Chazou is above everyone in the 22nd TB but still not enough to be relevant.

I'm still impressed with how quickly Toriyama pulled these numbers out of his ass. If i were to asspull due to my laziness to read my own work again, i'd just put Piccolo and Goku at ~6,000 and the humans at ~4,000 or so.
