1. I used to be a One Piece hater or a One Piece incel. I realized I had to tone that down a ton, mainly to see it for what it really is... peak fiction.
2. It's the perfect length. I mean it's over 100 volumes now. That's great! Not even the likes of Naruto, Bleach, or Gintama are over 80 volumes and that's just not ok.
3. It's been peak fiction since the Whitebeard War Saga. Many people say that it's been great since Part II, but it was great even before that, in my opinion. Although the Whitebeard War saga is definitely a lot better than Part II. I would even go as far as to say that Whitebeard War Saga is peak fiction.
I mean the very first arc of the Whitebeard War Saga, the Thriller Bark Arc, is 11/10... So that's a clear indication that most of the Saga is peak too. Impel Down is Oda's best attempt and the definitive version of Enies Lobby as well, and Marineford is very gr8.
Shoutout to the Sabaody Archipelago Arc that despite being the weakest of the lot, but that's still not enough to ruin the Saga as a whole.
One Piece was at its worst in quality during the span of the Baroque Works Saga, the Sky Island Saga, and the CP9 Saga, and admittedly those are some SHIT Sagas, but not enough to make me hate One Piece as much as I used to.
