Tao wasn't going all-out at first.

Even-though there comes the problem, if you make the gain here already so huge the boost in the Piccolo-Daimao must be even higher by a-lot than this.

Well, considering Tao killed Blue with his tongue, he could actually be like 5-10x his power. It's plausible.

Tao didn't even need his arms to almost one shot Goku without ki.

Tao just finds creative ways to kill someone. The job probably got boring for him, so he created new boss ways.
