Base Gotenks (pre ROSAT) vs SSJ2 Kid Gohan and Super Perfect Cell

Gotenks rapes. The fact that he can survive a beating from a powered up Boo that can give a SSJ3 a decent fight shows that he is at least far above Majin Vegeta.

I'd give it to Gotenks with mid difficulty at most, and that's only if he clowns around. I think he should be noticeably ahead of the SSJ2s from the Boo arc, who are already a decent ways ahead of the Cell arc SSJ2s. While he did survive his fight with Boo, without context it's tough to say what really happened.
