I've just thought of an excelente addition that should be added to gen 10 (or whatever gen is next).
You know how you can throw a pokeball at a trainer's pokemon and they'll block it with their body? You should be able to throw a baseball instead, and knock them out. Make the playable character like 8 so they don't have criminal culpability. BUT if it's a baseball player trainer you get fked up when they hit the ball back. One gym can be a sports gym. In that gym they all play different ball sports and you have to throw a ball they don't know how to hit back. The clues are in their surroundings in the gym. The boss only has one ball he can't hit. "No. It can't be?!" - but you have to, if you wanna be the very best. Want to be like no one ever was. His weakness is a shot put ball and you give him brain damage. Sometimes he telephones you when you're cycling and tells you in mangled speech how he's doing. You cry so much IGN complains.
