Power-scaling is the only effective way to make Omega Shenron so powerful. Through feats, which are more reliable to determine what a character can do, Beerus would sneeze and Omega Shenron would probably die.

Beerus can travel at millions of times faster than light and can shake a Universe and the dimensions beyond it by himself. That's significantly better than anything Omega Shenron can do. It's like comparing Silver Age Superman to Current Superman, it's an unfair comparison and no contest in favor of Beerus.

Hell, even power-scaling doesn't really do much in attempting to place GT top tiers on God level, since there's nothing to scale both continuities in comparison to each other, as the only thing we have is that both Gods and GT top tiers are vastly above Vegetto, plus the defusion of Kibitoshin debunks the old attempt of trying to put both in the same continuity in order to have Super Vegeta-Baby > Whis.

I don't even put them in the same continuity and I still have the Gods being below GT mid tiers. I think the films override Super personally, so I don't regard it as a worthy source.

Seriously, you can't use feats to measure GT. If we use solely feats, then Piccolo Daimao = Omega Shenron, which is untrue unless you have mental disease.

@Captain Cadaver Exactly, so how are people so confident in their comparisons? GT is not a feat based anime, so trying to dig feats out of it to compare does not work. The statements found in GT are relevant to GT and GT only. I don't see it being possible to make accurate, confident comparisons between the two.

Feats and statements are proof of something, solidifying or implying what we know of the character's abilities. Without such, a claim would be fairly baseless. This is apparent in the case of GT > Super. One has both feats and statements of characters being MFTL+ and capable of destroying the universe with the combined power of two top tiers, whereas the other has no statements to place them above Multi-Solar System level.

The one prevalent fact is that neither feats nor statements give anything in GT's favour. I'd honestly like to know what it is that people use to argue in it's favour, as right now, I'm seeing no solid evidence to place GT anywhere close to Super. To ignore feats and statements as comparison due to them being different continuities is essentially ignoring the entire concept of fictional versus debating in general.
