Better team for universe 7 ?

Self-explanatory: which team would have been better for the seventh universe ?

Here is my take on it:

1)Goku (leader)
2)Vegeta
3)Gohan
4)Mirai Trunks
5)Kid Trunks
6)Goten
7)Freeza
8)Cell
9)Super Boo
10)???

Explanations are in spoiler:

1)Mirai Trunks just had his timeline completely destroyed. He has nowhere else to go, so he might as well stay and help for the tournament.

2)The Saiyans. How many Saiyans is there ? Are they all considered pure-hearted ? If you answered "Six" and "Yes", you've probably figured out what I meant by now: the SSJG. According to Toriyama's interview, the stronger the Saiyan who become a Super Saiyan God is, the stronger the form will be. Even if Goten and Trunks won't be as strong as SSJG Goku (BoG), they'd still be ridiculously strong. Besides, nothing keep Gohan, Trunks (both) and Goten from training in order to become SSJB. If even Goku had the potential to keep the SSJG power, and if Vegeta could get the SSJB on his own, what could possibly keep them from doing that as well, considering their potential is even greater than Goku's and Vegeta's ?

3)The bad guys. Now it's beginning to be fun. The twelve universes are at stake. Knowing that the afterlife will be destroyed if the Universe 7 loses, they have no choice, but to help. It's also an opportunity for redemption.

4)Note that I've put Super Boo instead of Kid Boo. Wouldn't he be revived as Kid Boo ? Yes. But if the Z-Fighters get Kid Boo to absorb Good Boo, he could become Super Boo, the smartest Boo, and the one who will use his abilities the best. He will be a great asset for the team.

5)Freeza is the Saitama of the team. If he could become that strong by beating up a guy to near death for four months, do you imagine what he could do if he trained with Whis in 1 month ? 2 months ? Scratch that, even 1 week would be a ridiculous power-up. Freeza would be a beast !

6)Cell...no forget what I said above, Cell IS the Saitama of the team. He has the combined techniques AND potential of the Saiyans, Piccolo, Freeza and his father ! He has both regeneration AND Zenkai. Needless to say that Cell will be a cutthroat opponent.

7)The mystery member is...Guldo. No, I'm not kidding, it's this guy. What is this guy doing here ? Two words: Time Master. The thing is, he is too weak to keep his power going for long. So, how do you deal with this problem ? Giving this power to someone else, someone far stronger than him, with a better body...Super Boo ! So, during the time Super Boo...stops time, the rest of the team could instantly eliminate the rest of the tournament.

Best team ever in my opinion.

Too many Saiyans. Using the SSJG ritual wouldn't be very practical in a tournament like this where 70 different fighters will all be ganging up on each other, probably U7 in particular due to everyone's hatred for Goku. I like the idea of bringing back the villains.....but they are after all villains so it would I have a hard time believing Freeza or Cell could swallow their pride and work with the others in proper synch.

Just switch out Tien and Roshi for Trunks and Goten and it makes much more sense.

As much as I like the idea of Cell working with Gohan, Freeza working with Goku, etc. And as much of a villain whore as I am, I just cant sign off on having them be as part of a team. Plus they are already in hell, with a body, without a body, the fuck knows anymore, but yeah, they probably wouldnt give a shit about the universe being wiped out unless they were offered a new life, and I doubt they'd be offered that.

Well, they have to train in order to do so, then. Their lives are at stakes after all. In particular, Freeza wasn't too prood to beg to a Saiyan to save his life, rembember ?

Considering the stakes of the tournament, they'd better put their best chances at their side. Plus, there was already cases of villains being redeemed/teaming up with the Z-Fighters, as unlikely as it was previously.

The problem therein is they wouldn't stop doing bad shit. Not that that matters once the tournament is over, but yeah....

Plus, Venato, them being villains isn't why I said what I said, I just cant see them working together cohesively because of their personalities. Getting Vegeta to do anything team oriented is like pulling teeth, even to this day, and he actually likes them. Well, like is a strong word for Vegeta, but you feel me!

Which is why it just needs to be a pretense. Both Freeza and Cell probably despise being tied up in a cocoon or whatever the fuck being tormented, so even if they had the impulse to commit more evil they'd be desperate for another chance. Freeza in particular has died twice and lost all his men, so he'd know this was the last leg he could stand on.

Either way, more logical than fags like Roshi and three-eyes occupying spots imo.

Roshi and Ten do make more sense to be on the team than Goten and Trunks, when you think about it. As Gohan said in the most recent episode, they'd need tactics for this battle royale, which Roshi, Ten and Kuririn can provide with techniques such as Taiyoken, Kienzan, Kikoho, Mafuba, Bankoku Bikkuri Sho, etc. Beyond their moves as Gotenks, Goten and Trunks don't really have anything that another team member doesn't already cover. Even if they're stronger by far, it means little here, since in pure power, they're most likely still oneshot material to any relevant fighter and, unlike those already on the team, they don't have something to compensate as a useful and unique support role.

Do #18 and 17 have anything to offer beyond infinite energy though? I guess the former might have good teamwork with :Krillin but still.

Their energy shield barriers can be useful in negating an opponent's attacks or knocking back opponents in order to gain an easy ringout, assuming they're capable of taking attacks far beyond their level. #18 can also use the Kienzan, and is likely the only user of it close to her husband in their proficiency with it.
