Raditz: “There’s another large power…! It’s big…The greatest on this world...This time it has to be Kakarot!”

The BoZ power levels are so screwed up that I thought I'd ask.

He should be. He'd been training for 5 years.

Don't see why not. But he doesn't surpass 1000+ Popo.

I thought this was kind of obvious, I mean it makes the gaps tight but it's do-able if you just ignore all the large gaps implied in DB and treat the BOZ as it's own continuity just remember: Weighted Goku > Kami > Mr. Popo > Tenshinhan, in numerical terms.

Weighted Goku = 334

Kami = 300

Mr. Popo = 275

Tenshinhan = 250

Excluding DB, what specifically is so bad about them?

The fact that they contradict a bunch of statements in implications in Part 1 is what's bad about them, but barring all of that, I guess there's nothing wrong with them.

Goku and piccolo were so fast during the 23rd that kami couldn't follow them at times. I see no reason to say that weighted goku wouldn't still be stronger than kami.

Even if the numerical levels don't make sense.

At the 23rd Budokai, weighted Goku was way weaker than Kami, as the former was being outclassed by Tenshinhan. It somehow changed at the beginning of Z, where weighted Goku surpassed Tenshinhan by a lot, by whatever reason.

I'm fine with BoZ weighted Goku > Kami, but can Raditz read Kami at his temple?

I have a strong feeling Raditz's scouter wouldn't detect Kami's lookout.

I almost get the feeling he just detected Piccolo and Goku. Goku was right next to Gohan and he somehow went undetected. Then again, his power might've risen to 710 after he started whining.

Goku removing weights at the 23rd Budokai was a tremendous power up. Goku 5 years later has gotten so strong, removing the weights isn't nearly as big of an impact.

I think Weighted Goku and Piccolo are probably somewhere around their power at the 23rd Budokai. Probably slightly stronger. Then removing their weights show just how much more powerful they have become.

Remember, Goku doesn't talk about Piccolo's impressive power until after the weights come off. It would be odd for either of them to be weaker with the weights on than they were at the 23rd. That's probably a good way to start the gap between 23rd and BOZ.

FP Goku/Piccolo(23rd)> Weighted Goku/Piccolo (BOZ)

Goku learnt from his training at Kami's how to suppress his PL and knew Piccolo had that ability as well. Him realizing Piccolo
had been training was because he saw him removing weights, so he figured ''he's wearing weights, so he's training; if he wasn't
training, there would be no need to wear weights''.

Come on, P123, you have been the only debater i regard as my equal. Don't tell me you also turned into a brainless
official/scouter numbers supporter.

Agreed, the 23rd Budokai suggests that there's a tremendous power up when removing the weights. Goku went from being outclassed by Tenshinhan to completely speed blitzing him, to a point where Tenshinhan couldn't do anything and that was anywhere Goku's full power. At the 23rd Budokai we have:

Goku full power >>> Goku (Tenshinhan's estimation) >>> Goku (outcalssing Ten) >>> Ten > weighted Goku

This could easily be a multifold gap, and yet the beginning of Z suggests there's only a ~1.25x gap. Pretty pathetic.

Unless we go with the theory that the 416 was anywhere near Goku's true power and he raised it even further to attack Raditz, which I don't like much, but whatever.
