I saw this thread on another forum and quite a few were against the idea of Chi-Chi being a challenge to Lady Tsunade (and this is both of them at their best) so what do y'all think?

Who wins?

Although she's clearly much stronger than most humans, Chi-Chi doesn't have much feat to clearly pinpoint her power level. According to Daizenshuu, she's at 130, which is slightly below Kame Sennin, but I usually don't rely on guidebooks.

So I have no idea who would win.

Tsunade would be fast enough to blitz her via powerscaling from feats of other Kage tier characters. As Venato said, her feats make Chichi hard to pinpoint due to making Goku sweat not being a consistent indicator, though it's unlikely her power outranks that of Old Piccolo Daimao. Manga-wise, Chichi would probably lose to Tsunade's superior skills. Anime-wise though, Chichi oneshots due to the filler statement where Piccolo implied Chichi would be a good match for a Goku that was stronger than the one who killed Daimao.

Feat wise I see no way that Chi-chi stacks up against Tsunade. At no point in DB does chi-chi ever show the pure physical strength Tsunade exhibits in Naruto.

Tsunade uses some chakra enhanced doohickey to exhibit that much power doesn't she? Sakura's clearly not as physically strong or fast as her feats would suggest, at least in terms of pure strength.

Regardless, I'd give it to Tsunade. High speed regeneration and superior battle techniques, and higher destructive power among other things.

22nd arc Tenshinhan would beat Tsunade so it depends on whether you Chichi is > him. I do not

Ten's only Large Building level at that point, and still only City Block level with the Kikoho. He ain't doing shit to anyone above Chunin/weaker Jonin tier.

He's small city level from Roshi saying the kikoho is stronger than any kamehameha. The moon one is an outlier so if we use him curing mount fry pan in buff mode it's small city

That too ought to be on outlier considering both were nothing compared to Old Daimao, yet Prime Daimao needed to tense his arm to perform a Small City level Ki blast. The crater the Kikoho caused was nowhere near Small City level either.

The kikoho was that small because that is a limitation of the kikoho's area.

Young Daimao's blast is city level, not small.

I wasn't referring to the Kikoho crater's area, but to it's depth. It didn't seem to be enough to warrant anywhere close to City level power.

Young Daimao's Bakurikimaha was City level. His casual Ki blast was only Small City at best, considering the City he erased didn't seem to be that big at all.

What's wrong with its depth? There is nothing wrong with a Kikoho being on par with a casual young Daimao. It takes a gap from Saiyan arc Vegeta to first form Freeza just to get past earth level

Casual Young Daimao > Full power Old Daimao >> Anything Ten & Roshi can muster

There's nothing really wrong with having them on the same tier, considering nobody in the Freeza Arc went beyond Large Planet level despite the bloat in powerscaling, though the feat itself leaves little to support it beyond scaling from Roshi, with the feat itself seeming more important when considering the statement was based around it's destructive capability. Moreover, the statement could be purely referring to the amp of the Kikoho compared to the Kamehameha, the latter of which not having to be that high in comparison to Manly Roshi's power.

Nah, Goku vs. Chi-Chi gave us a pretty good idea of her limits.

Far below Goku then? She didn't accomplish anything impressive in that battle.

Not really. The fight only indicated that Chi-Chi is much weaker than Goku...which isn't exactly accurate to measure her limits.

Yeah. All we got from the fight was Roshi's reaction implying she was at least above him, though by how much is debatable, considering the "making Goku sweat" feat is clearly inconsistent with Goku VS Tenshinhan. We only get a clear indication of her strength anime-wise with Piccolo's statement implying she's at least above Daimao, though considering it's debatable whether or not Yamcha/Kuririn surpassed him it's best to treat that as non-existent manga-wise.

Didn't Chi-Chi see Goku one-shot Chappa or it was heavily implied she saw the match? So she should at least be >>> Chappa.
