He could probably use the force and split Kylo in two.

You'd have to give Vader massive handicaps to make Ren a viable threat to him. Not only did Ren perform poorly in the long run, but his training has yet to be completed, plus even in the New Canon, Vader's feats are still enough for his Force to oneshot Kylo.

Maybe once the new Trilogy ends it'll be an even match, or even result in Kylo Ren's victory, but for now it's a stomp.

Yes, but we don't know enough about Kylo to confirm that he was. All we know is he was an apprentice.

Well.. Vader was trained to BE a Jedi. Vader was simply the greatest, aside from Yoda and Palpatine. By the time Luke became a Jedi, he was mentored by a withering Obi Wan, who could barely fight at this point. Kilo Ren THEN adapted what Luke taught him.
