Did death become a bigger deal as the series progressed?

In the beginning of the series, death is introduced as a small deal.
-Kid Goku (when asked about his grandpa) says ''he's fine i guess; he's dead''.
-Grandpa Gohan is happy in the afterlife with the ''lady souls''.
-Goku and Z fighters have their bodies and train with King Kai in the afterlife.
They can even contact with the living.

As the series progresses though, death becomes more... deathlike.
-In Trunkses future, dead fighters are never heard of again. In DBS manga,
it is even mentioned that Goku/Vegeta do not exist anymore in that
future.
-Gods killed by Kid Buu do not exist anymore.
-Kaioshin killed by Dabura in Trunkses future is also erased from existence.
-Zeno Sama's erasing abilities.

Depends on the plot really. The reason why Trunks can't revive the others from death in his future is because, Piccolo is dead and they can't go to the new Namek since they don't have a ship unless Bulma can built a similar ship that Goku used to travel to the planet Namek.

There are some characters that weren't revive because they're irrelevant like the Kaioshins that Pure Boo killed and absorbed. The future U7 erasure is something that can't be fix by DB and doubtful if the SDB can bring something that doesn't exist.

When Piccolo tells :1down to indiscriminately kill people death's no longer a big deal.

Now future Trunks is just stupid, him and Bulma could have wished Goku back with the Namekian Dragon's balls.

Bulma can't built a spaceship like how her father build Goku's ship. Also the new Namek is on different galaxy so they're gonna need King Kai for that but King Kai doesn't communicate with them since Goku is dead.
