Or, in outer space, where Vegeta came from, attacks didn't have the same names they were given on Earth.
I really think earthlings were not the only beings with the brains to discover attacks. Freeza's death beam
was probably a variation of dodonpa and Vegeta's gallick gun was a variation of kamehameha.
