Gap between Kid Trunks and Vegeta?

How big this gap seems to be? What is more impressive, Vegeta struggling to DOOODGE or Trunks' grazed blow? How would Gohan stand if he was there? Would he land a better blow?

This seems rather big as Vegeta was pretty concrented and sweating to dodge the blows. How you think Gohan would stand is this situation?

It's a good feat. I just don't know if you can really gauge the power difference there.

This feat is the main reason i once proposed the theory about Gohan only weakening his SSJ2
by slacking off and retaining his SSJ power. This would reduce the gaps and would allow us to
place SSJ Trunks somewhere close to SSJ Vegeta.

How you think Gohan would stand on Trunks' place, EV?

Gohan had trouble dodging a rock from close range and needed Goten to move back before he felt comfortable. Super Saiyan Trunks throwing punches at full-force in close range would be much harder. I think he'd probably get pummeled a good amount.

Around 2x. SS Trunks pressured him a bit, but Vegeta's punch in retaliation knocks Trunks flat on his ass and makes him cry.

I dont think Vegeta was at full power either or was expecting Trunks to push him so hard. However, it did push Vegeta to actually try. I have Trunks at like 50% of Vegeta after his training.

1. Vegeta was already tired at that point.
2. Vegeta was definitely holding back because he had no idea how Trunks was.
3. Gohan will probably have a trouble dealing with him because he's rusty in skills and power which was pointed out by others.

Around 2x. Vegeta was caught off-guard by how strong Trunks was but he still managed to avoid his punches rather handedly and had him in tears with one punch.

Where is Ahill?

I misspoke in my first post, I usually go with 1.5-2x not just 2x.

Vegeta just seems to gather himself and smash Trunks' face in. The kid is crying with a bloody nose and his whole face is bruised. He's also slow to get up.

Trunks isn't too far behind in the grand scheme of things. I more or less see him somewhere between CG SS Vegeta and CG SS Goku.

Trunks has to still be below Gohan by either a minimal or slightly noticeable degree, whom had weakened so much Vegeta was disgusted by how much he'd slacked off, citing him as much, much weaker than before and also implying he himself was close to CG Gohan's level.

Anywhere from a 1.2-1.5x gap can work.

Vegeta seemed to be having an easier time dodging Zarbon than dodging kid Trunks, although he didn't dodge Zarbon for too much time and soon kicked him. Vegeta's punch also seemed to cause more pain in Trunks than any of 24k Vegeta's attacks did on Zarbon, with Trunks falling far from Vegeta and crying like a baby. It's somewhat of a tricky situation, but I think Vegeta could have dodged kid Trunks a little better had him be better prepared to this latter's strength, considering he also seems surprised as soon as his son throws the 1st punch. You could put up the argument of "but why would Vegeta keep having problems dodging his son throughout the scene if it were just a 'taken off guard' matter", but the truth is that the scene was very fast, and I think adjusting your level upon being taken off guard is somewhat difficult. The problem I find with that scene is that Vegeta is having more problems dodging than against Zarbon, yet his punch clearly has a higher effect in Trunks than any of his attacks on Zarbon (who quickly recovers from one of his kicks), which leads me to go with Vegeta just showing his full capability when punching his son, and not fully when just dodging.

Because Vegeta was holding back against his son while he was proving something against Zarbon which is part of Yuuki/Shouki.

Maybe it is harder to dodge when you're just standing in a spot moving only your head than in a battle when you move

We know he didn't know Trunks could use Super Saiyan, and had no idea Trunks was that strong, so he wasn't immediately prepared for that kind of power. We know Trunks' punch barely grazed him, while his reflexive punch sent Trunks crashing to the ground crying (although remaining in Super Saiyan). We also know, unlike Gohan, he wasn't worried about the kids catching up to or surpassing him anytime soon.

Vegeta: 0.85
Kid Gohan: 1

I'd say he's comfortably ahead, even 2x could be fine.

Even worse, because Vegeta would know what to expect and wouldn't have his guard lowered so much.
