But even still, even if we go with the idea that he only remembered because there were to his knowledge only 3 left, remembering his name seems like something Freeza wouldn't even bother with. Instead calling him something-else, like a joke or whatever. Freeza had tremendous respect for Raditz's hair it seems.

Aside from only 3 Saiyans making things easier for him, a name like Raditz was so badass Freeza couldn't help but covet it and have endless fits of jealousy at how his father named him after part of a Fridge.

It's funny that he recognised Goku as Bardock's son though but apparently never thought Raditz was.

You'd think someone with the ego of Freeza would just call him that "low-level" or "trash" Saiyan or something. Instead of calling him by his name. Even-though he was alright with respecting Zarbon and Dodoria.
