Yeah, I was thinking that too. I guess you could call it the Piccolo Saga all together, but there is a time-skip that signified a huge change, so it's probably more a sequel saga.

Uranai Baba tournament can be part of the whole Red Ribbon Army Saga thing though. Probably not though.

Baba tournament was like 8 chapters long and more or less wrapped up the RRA arc's loose ends so it's really part of that saga imo.

Yeah, right about that. Even in official listing the Uranai Baba stuff is never mentioned a separate story arc or anything, IIRC.

Yeah and they labeled the Oob thing "the Peaceful World saga" despite it being literally not even 3 chapters long, though that was moreso due to the new films and Super taking place in the interim.

Also another reason why I always go with Freeza, Cell and Boo Sagas is because in most artworks you see for DragonBall Z. It's almost always those 3. Like the big 3. Freeza in his sleek final form, Cell in his perfect form and the strongest Boo aka Kid Boo. Vegeta is never shown, even-though probably also has to do something with not wanting to confuse anyone.

You got your wrestling terminology mixed-up. Vegeta turned face. A heel is the bad fellow.

My sectioning of the arcs is based on their overall major plot elements and variations in tone. For example, whilst the Cell Arc can be seen as having two or three major sections (#19/20, #17/18 and Cell, or just Artificial Humans and Cell), it still has the primary theme of Gero's creations wreaking havoc on the Earth. The Piccolo Daimao Arc and 23rd TB are separated for the variation in tone, as whilst both have the same villain (or close enough), the former is a race against time to save the world, whilst the latter is a linear tournament arc.
As for where the obscurity that is the Uranai Baba events are placed, I'd put them as part of the RRA Arc, since they wrap up the main plot of the RRA Arc, being Goku hunting for the Dragon Balls.

There are pretty much 5 central arcs IMO. The opening arc is centered around Goku's introduction, adventure, and character development..the 4 remaining arcs are centered by the central SuperVillain whom the entire arc centers around in defeating.
