King Piccolo Compared To The Big 3

Am I the only one who feel this? How King Piccolo doesn't get much appreciation compared to the likes of Freeza, Cell and Boo who are and will be remember as the biggest villains of the franchise? Thought...

It's because only a quater of the fans have read DB.

I definitely think he should be thought of in the same (or higher) regard as the Z villains, but most people seem to separate DB from Z, and naturally that includes its villains too.

The main reasons would be far more people having seen Z than DB and Piccolo Daimao's presence in the series being vastly overshadowed by his reincarnation.
A shame, since his goals and lack of contradictive or contrived choices make him far better than any villain in the original manga save for Freeza (or better than Freeza if including how Super has ruined him).

Personally, I seperate DB into three parts...
-Original Dragonball: Beginning to 22nd TB Saga.
-Dark Dragonball: KP Saga to Cell Games.
-New generation Dragonball: Buu Saga and Super or Buu Saga and GT.
