Gyumao had done atrocities before meeting Goku. Videl looks like another Early DB Bulma bitch and Bulma
cannot ride the cloud. Krillin only controlled the spirit bomb because the plot needed him to. I don't think
Alternate Trunks or Piccolo can ride it either.

Nimbus is weird at its selections. Chichi, who's as much of a bitch as Bulma, can ride it, whereas
Yadjirobe, who has saved the day at KP/Saiyan sagas, is stated not to be able to. I think, in the
end, it all comes down to whom the plot wants to be able to. For instance, Videl would probably
ride it just because she's Gohan's wife.

Seeing as this is early DB Bulma when she had no problems shooting Goku a child, manipulating him into helping her gather the Dragonballs, wanted said Dragonballs to wish for a boyfriend (selfish), and was very vain. It's pretty understandable why she couldn't ride it. Chi-Chi is more selfless than Bulma. Whenever she bitches it's out of concern for her children and family. She just wants her kids to turn out successful members of society, what's so bitchy about that? Yajirobe is obviously a selfish character. This is the guy who had a big lunch while all the other humans were fighting for their lives against the Saiyans.
