EU-Wise, Windu wins with high difficulty, since in saber skill Windu ~ Dooku > Grievous. New Canon-wise, Windu kills Grievous effortlessly.

I don't know about the new EU, but in the old EU Grievous and Windu fight, and Windu makes a mockery of him.

Obi-wan makes short work of him in episode 3. Unless he has some clone wars cartoon like showings somewhere Grievous is a pushover compared to the more skilled jedi.

Windu is among the top three duelists in the Clone Wars era, sharing that position with Yoda and Dooku. If he can take Dooku, and Dooku trained Grevious, I take Windu here with mild difficulty.

Are you referring to their fight in the Clone Wars 2003 series? Windu stomped Grievous there due to his Force Power, whereas this battle is purely saber based. Composite EU Grievous would also have his feats from that series applied to him, in which he was able to wreck 4 Jedi Masters at once, 2 of which were Council Members. That version of Grievous would be a challenge for Windu without Force powers.

Canon-wise, he's far closer to how he's portrayed in RotS. Canon Grievous would get wrecked by Mace, but Legends Grievous would put up a fair fight.

I'm referring to Labyrinth of Evil, which coincidentally directly contradicts the events of the 2003 series. Grievous fights Windu on the back of a Mag-lev train, and while he's able to analyse and produce something resembling Vapaad, it isn't Vapaad, and Windu easily defeats him. Even in the 2003 series Dooku directly warns Grievous about the better duelists in the Jedi order.

Probably my favorite line in the episode 3 novelization is when Grievous spouts his "I was trained in the Jedi arts by count dooku" spiel and Obi-wan replies by saying he trained the man who killed him.
