Both Zamasu were handled differently from their respective version.

The Anime has Merged Zamasu fusion being unstable due to Goku Black not being an immortal being like his future counterpart.

The Manga on the other hand has MZ something like their fusion being permanent due to their soul mixing and identical to each other despite that both of them aren't Kaioshin yet.

I thought the anime handled the weird bullshit going on with his body better, it's just that what caused it (Goku getting a massive resolve hax and overpowering his attack) and what destroyed his body (the genki sword) was total BS. In the manga he just multiplies like a bacteria because he got cut in half, lmao. And then continued to increase in number. Did he like literally rip pieces of himself off to spawn new bodies or some shit offscreen?

Manga is better because it doesn't shove ningen, Kami, subarashii and justice into our faces. The conflict between the two was also more logical instead of the love-fest in the anime.

I should clarify this better. What the topic is about how the manga and anime handled the way Potara works.

In the manga, Merged Zamasu was said to have only 30 mins left but due to his soul or cellular being the same thing their fusion became permanent (from what I've understand) and started to multiplied MZ into infinity.

Similarly in the anime, MZ fusion was unstable due to Black not being an immortal compare to his future counterpart which resulted Zamasu becoming the universe itself.

Zamasu fans aren't fond of the fact that he got raped by Vegetto apparently.

Manga version was better considering his attacks were more than just typical Ki blasts and as broken as his techniques were, infinite clones of himself and having an actual Potara time limit made far more sense than becoming stronger through his body being destroyed.
