We've been through most of these, so i'll answer only to those i have something new to say...

l. With the additive boosts, this is hard. I guess no matter what your approach at PLs is, you have to make
at least one sacrifice or two.

I just went through the Manga and it was an extremely equal fight. Even after Imperfect Cell powered up, Sixteen was still matching him blow for blow.

If this isn't good enough, then nothing is:

Cell (to Gohan): “If you don’t show your true worth soon, things will go past the point of no return. Look closely. Vegeta or Trunks are barely fighting evenly…Even Son Goku is in trouble, having lost his stamina…”
Note: Cell says that “Vegeta ya Trunks” are fighting evenly; ya is a non-exhaustive word for ‘and’, meaning the things listed aren’t necessarily the only things there are to list. In other words, Cell’s line doesn’t necessarily mean that nobody but Trunks or Vegeta are fighting evenly, just that they’re the first examples to come to mind.

The chapter cover also depicts Trunks, Vegeta and Piccolo all standing, with everybody else unconscious or too beaten up to stand. In other-words, Piccolo is much close to Trunks and Vegeta then one might think.

I know we're talking about a goofy series where pretty much anything is possible, but even Dragon Ball has its own small amount of in-universe logic at play. Suspension of disbelief has its limits, and as far as I'm concerned Gotenks pulling off something like this would be FAR beyond it.

My preferred explanations are either A) Piccolo's simply overreacting for comedy's sake, or B) Piccolo expects Gotenks to go Super Saiyan, loses hope when they don't and it seems they can't, and then regains it when they do.
