He's an underrated protagonist in my opinion. He comes in second to Zoro as best Straw Hat.

The One Piece fanbase ranges between loving him to hating him (at least post timeskip).

CP9 is a great Arc. Also the stuff on the train is pretty nostalgic. Also finding out about the Gears is pretty awesome. If I were you I would read about 1-2 volumes a day
