If there's a thread in another section, I didn't see it. Figured we should have one.

What do you guys think of this so far? I think it's a bit addicting trying to go all over and catch the different Pokes, but also really time consuming and you really have to be aware of what you're doing or you're gonna fuck someone up. It also sucks that there's never any Pokes by my house or my job, so I actually do have to go places to find any...

I have it, but I honestly don't get the hype. I don't find it very fun at all and rarely even use it.

Ore no Nee-Chan, Nii-San have it and they talk quite a bit about it. Onee-Chan showed me the game, but I don't see the hype. I'd rather stick to my copy of HeartGold, the hacks I have on my GBA Emulator, and the XY anime rather than Pokémon Go.

Meh. I'd much rather play the handheld games of it. Lol

I've got it. It's pretty easy for me to have fun with it, being a college student on summer break, I think. It's just so damn buggy at the moment and there should be more to do.

Posted this in F

Aight first day done, level 5 atm and learned a few things.
Not sure if common knowledge yet or not but here we go.
Higher trainer level tends to give higher cp Pokemon.
Nicer/ busier places give more rare/stronger Pokemon (ex downtown of a city)
Driving actually counts as steps. Driving at low speeds like under 30 km/h it works.
I picked up two friends today, and dropped them off too, was going through downtown in traffic, hit a bunch of lights, there were stop signs, speed bumps, ect... and for those parts it counted as steps.

@hav Yeah whenever I drive to/from school I keep Go open since I know that it'll count the slower sections of the drive as steps. Anything to hatch those damn eggs.

And yeah higher trainer level = higher CP, kinda makes upgrading with candy/stardust a lil obsolete since it makes more sense to keep catching mons until you've got a really high CP one and then just evolving that.

We didn't think much of it until we went down to the beach for the weekend. We had an absolute blast with it.

So I think it's really relevant to population density.

I see lots of people still using it when I'm out. Just the other day I was out at 9PM and there were people gathered in one area playing the game and being social. I don't use it much myself anymore, just check in whenever I'm at a pokestop with a lure.

I still use it whenever the opportunity presents itself but I haven't gone out with the sole intention of playing in a while. Might do that again if enough people I know are free anytime soon though.
