Sasori (サソリ, Sasori), renown as Sasori of the Red Sand (赤砂のサソリ, Akasuna no Sasori), was an S-rank missing-nin from Sunagakure's Puppet Brigade and a member of Akatsuki, where he was partnered with Orochimaru and later, Deidara.

"I am a puppet, but . . . an incomplete puppet with the "core" of my real body . . . not human. . . not puppet . . ."

Sasori was regarded as the Sand Village's Puppet Army genius creator:

He created his first puppets, ones resembling his parents, when he was just a little kid:

Sasori can control 100 puppets at once. According to the databook, "The true ability of a puppet master is measured by the number of puppets he is able to control." This makes Sasori controlling 100 a very impressive feat:

Puppets

Sasori laces all the weapons that each of his puppets use with poison, which first paralyses you and is potent enough to kill the target in three days:

Granny Chiyo, a poison expert in the Sand Village, couldn't even figure out how to cure his poison:

Human Puppets


Sasori specializes in making puppets out of dead humans, thus enabling his puppets to use ninjutsu:

Third Kazekage: This is Sasori's favorite puppet. The Third Kazakage was the strongest out of all the Kazekage of the Sand Village and had the unique ability to manipulate iron sand.
