Should the humans have learned Kaioken?

Yamcha, Chaozu and Tenshinhan were all on Kaio's planet for lengthy amounts of time. Do you think they should have at least learned Kaioken given such? The only issue I see is that Krillin wouldn't learn it, but he had his potential unlocked..

I think AT just got rid of Kaioken altogether because the excessive multiplication was making Freeza's hidden power ridiculous on Namek. Same issue Super is having now with power scaling even though there's a mountain of other bullshit in that show.

I do agree, but considering the introduction of Super Saiyan, even Kaioken up to 20x wouldn't be a huge deal post Freeza arc. Perhaps the humans wouldn't have been 100% dropped from the story if they managed it.

There should've then been a good explanation why Piccolo can't go 100 fold or something though given he's much more durable and experienced than Namek Galu.

And do what with it? Get two shoted by the Androids instead of one shoted? The humans had no place on the main battles after the power inflaction on Namek creating too much of a gap between the Saiyans and them to be overcomed.

But you know, there is the theory Shin Kikoho has Kaioken-like properties...

Same as GS and Zippy said. They'd still be irrelevant so why bother. Ten not learning it and instead focusing it's qualities into the Shin Kikoho is a solid theory, considering he even said he wouldn't surpass Goku with the same regime and would need to put a few personal twists into what he's learnt. Unless you specifically add it to keep them semi-relevant and change a lot of events in the plot, erasing it would be the best idea.

Yea, I should have been more clear. Should the humans have had it in my scenario, the entire plot would change.

Would've made sense for them to learn it, but it wouldn't mean much, considering that Super Saiyan is far more powerful than Kaioken (unless you're freezamite)

It reminds me of "Dragon Ball Z Kai Abridged Episode 2," where someone (I believe Yamucha) asks, "Hey, King Kai, can you teach us the--" "NO!!!"

While it would be nice, I think that it would just be a little pointless. Quite honestly, I think the decision was made to phase Tenshinhan, Yamucha, and Chiaotzu out of that role and replace them with Piccolo, Gohan, and Vegeta, so I think that's why Toriyama never even bothered with them.
