However, the "Significance" section of the Fact Checker states

Significance: In case there was any question, Goku's 10x Kaiō-ken is a multiplication of Super Saiyan Blue's power. Beerus seems worried, but denies it when questioned by Whis. This is before Goku's power multiplies tenfold. Vegeta reminds the audience of the Kaiō-ken's major flaw, while Goku refers to SSB as strong & calm with "perfect ki control".

Was Beerus really worried and Goku really surpassed him, or he just seemed worried because Goku was hiding a technique from?

The recent interview with Toriyama about Dragon Ball Super said that he didn't plan on Goku surpassing Beerus and Whis so soon. Was he counting on the Kaioken? Afterall, it's a technique that's not really the user's power, but some kind of outer power.

He's probably worried that Goku can close the gap between him with KK10x some day and plus it multiplies the god form by 10x IMO.

There's really no logical way to explain Beerus' power. It's heavily suggested that Goku's SSB without Kaioken is already on par with a Hit who's improved since the tournament yet he's still inferior to Beerus, not to mention even Merged Zamasu, Vegetto and Asspull Trunks aren't seemingly at his level.

Until we get an actual statement saying Beerus has been surpassed I will continue to believe he is the strongest aside from Zeno and the Angels.

I love this idea people have that they'd let Goku surpass Beerus with no fanfare whatsoever.

I love the idea that people actually use that corny turd bit as evidence that Goku and Hit actually are stronger than Beerus.

And with Beerus sweating before the x10 actually hits, pun unintended, then it seems he was more focused on the potential risk of the move rather than the power at hand presently.
