Because the T-X was simply a more advanced model, regardless of the writing team for the previous movie being more competent. The best the 1000 could do was craft blades out of his arms while the T-X could blast that model sky-high with a plasma cannon and brainwash him like the 850 model if need be.

TX losing to a bitch ass like T-850 is pretty damning, but if T-X fights to half of her capabilities (heals, plasma cannon, etc) T-1000 gets damaged to the point that he malfunctions. And she can do this at a far distance.

But damn, damn TX lost to fuggin Ahnold, she failed at life.

T-X should win as she's a more advanced model with benefits of both her predecessors. It just never looked as if she was as tough going up against the Arnold line. The T-1000 straight up rolled Arnold, but he could put up a small fight against the T-X.

Well James Cameron is the creator, so I guess that's as official as it can get but yeah if it's stupid we might just as-well discard it.

KP, T-X also fought 850 Arnold. T-1000 fought a reprogrammed 800 so maybe that made the difference.

Yeah the 850 type could be more powerful and durable than the 800... even though its existence is a semi plot hole.

Post Terminator 2 is mostly filled with plot-holes (filled with holes? how is that possible) anyway from what I heard. Didn't bother to watch them though.

Are the Arnold Terminators from T1 & T2 equal? Just one was reprogrammed to protect?

They're both 800 series terminators so they should be equal, the one in the 2nd movie looks stronger due to thr second movie having a massive budget tho.

The TX is a basically designed to fix all the T1000's limitations.

Like I don't know where you get that she struggled with Arnold at all, she absolutely wrecks him when they fight.
