TOEI should lose Dragon Ball license and to who? (No Super a

I mean, fuck... Super proves how bad they are (or rather how bad they've become) at doing Dragon Ball stories. The art/animation by large is subpar, the story is needlessly dragged out with fluff material, and the characterization is mostly just tropes people have been used to for years dumbed-down so it can appeal to 7 year olds. The literally best people argue in Super's case is that the original was just as flawed.

It made Goten and Trunks struggle with a snake that even BoDB Goku could probably one-shot, they go out of their way to make Gohan look like this Yamcha-tier loser (Y'know, that supposedly strong fighter that always jobs in the most humiliating way), and most of the fight scenes blow. Not to mention it reduced a few characters to cheap jokes notably Muten Roshi, Chi-Chi, and Mr. Boo. Roshi is probably the least extreme but his antics from what we saw is pretty stale especially since he no longer can contribute anything meaningful to the story (sure he goes back to the badass wise elder master we knew and love in OG Dragon Ball during Resurrection F but knowing TOEI, they might shoehorning in some pervy gags in the Super version). Chi-Chi... well, the latest episode went too far. I was hoping that after the first episode, they'd leave her be and not put her over-the-top but nope, they did everything that I hoped they wouldn't do and some... the ending for the latest episode was really sad instead of funny...made me really feel for Goku :'( . No one should be so afraid of a family member that they hide outside having to miss dinner (especially not Goku)... but that's all nothing compared to the atrocity of what they did to Mr. Boo. He is a fucking asshole.... that's all I gotta say.

All in all objectively speaking, Super as it stands is only good for nostalgia and VegeBul fans (and maybe Godel fans).

Do you think TOEI should lose the license and hand it to a more capable studio?

I don't pay attention to what studio produces what anime. If you could list one or a few of what each of the studio produces, then I'd vote.

I voted Madhouse because they're the most reputable animation studio out there, but at this point, Toei Animation should just have each their series bought out by any company including Studio Pierrot which does a horrible job with Naruto.

One Piece should get Madhouse since it's the best selling Manga in the World, and the Dressrosa Anime is a pile of steaming horseshit... They would have to start from Part II, however. Toriko should get either Madhouse or Ufotable since Ufotable is the one that animated the Toriko OVA before Toei animated it, not to mention they did an excellent job at animating it.

Dragon Ball and Slam Dunk need it less desperately, especially since they're finished, although in Slam Dunk's case, Inoue said himself that he wouldn't let anyone animate Vagabond because he was so disgusted by how badly Toei butchered it, so Slam Dunk's out of the question.

Dragon Ball Super not only needs to be reanimated by another studio, but the Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z anime needs to be reanimated in general. In Japan, the DBZ Anime is considered a joke that's vastly inferior to the Manga, and Kai doesn't cut it either.

Either way, Manga usually only get popular if they have a good anime adaptation anyway, which sucks since Toei Animation has their hands on big titles from Shonen Jump.

Overall I don't mind super but I still want something like Disney to buy dragon ball.

If Toei were to give it up, it should go to:
-Bones (Given their work on FMA)
-Sunrise/BNP (Gintama crossovers for days)
-Madhouse (Hunter x Hunter was done well)
-David Productions (I feel like they could emulate Toriyama's art well)
