How many issues is it?
I think that's two issues in one. So the one you see and another one. Not sure which one the other is. Also can't be bothered to google-translate right-now. I think so-far this is the only with DragonBall in that. That's for the 50th anniversary of Weekly-Shounen-Jump, so they are reprinting milestone issues of the magazine. Not every issue during DragonBall's run will be reprinted. There's also one of One-Piece.

I wonder whether they'll keep the advertisements and such of that time in though. I know I'd like that. Omitting that would feel like leaving-out stuff for the sake of leaving that out.

Hmm. Meh, I suck at those terms, don't understand anything about Weekly Shonen Jump, Tankobon or whatever lol.

Bro, I tell you.

Issue in a weekly anthology or magazine is the magazine that comes-out every week. If you say Issue #1 from 1993, then that means the first issue from 1993 (from presumably the first week of 1993 :king :king :king ). Tankobon in this case is collecting the chapters from said magazine into a book. So basically when I say they reprint the issues I mean that some of these specific magazines get printed. Which'll not only include DragonBall obviously but all the other series that ran at the time of the specific issue coming-out. DragonBall was on the cover of this cover though.

Thanks for the information, Hure. I always thought of Tankobon as a manga format, as I have read ppl saying "is this the Tankobon version?".

They are both manga, but obviously the series first got published in Weekly-Shōnen-Jump so that was the first first. The original run.
