Maybe then, he wouldn't be as bad of a father and have more of a character...

If not that, then I'll go with my second choice, the development of Krillin's and 18's relationship.

Wouldn't mind at all seeing an episode dedicated to Krillin and 18. Seeing what their day to day life is like would be interesting to me. Any excuse to spend time with 18, really.
