What you think?

22nd Budokai: Without Kuririn's death. The series just ends without the change for a serious tone.

23rd Budokai: It ends with Piccolo alive, like in the original. Goku finally turns into the strongest and wins a Budokai like he dreamed, Kuririn turns into a great martial artist able to stand up to Piccolo, Tenshinhan finally has his redemption as he beat his former master, Yamcha finally develops his own technique and learns to not understimate his foes. Roshi has been surpassed by every one of his students, and now the new generation begins. Piccolo's survival make it ambigous whetever he had a Batman/Joker relationship with Goku or one of them finally killed each other on the future.

Saiyan Arc: But with Vegeta being killed on the end and no Freeza foreshadowing. Every one of the character have fully developed by this point. Goku had learned his origin and fought his demons, Piccolo had a change of heart and died like a hero, just like the earthlings also died like heroes as well, being spared of their Jabroni fate on the later part of the series, plus they have surpassed God as well, with their sacrifices being meaningful since the DBs are gone forever.

Freeza Arc: Goku has turned into the strongest in the universe, having turned into a legendary warrior and defeating the dictador of the universe.

Cell Arc: Goku finally comes to full circle by training Gohan to be his sucessor. Gohan saves earth and once again the new generation begins, And Vegeta finally learns his lesson and turns into a fully good guy.

Boo Arc: Just cut the Super bullshit.

The 23rd Budokai for the reasons you've mentioned pretty much. Goku receiving training from God, getting married with Chi-Chi, all of Muten Roshi's being surpassed by his disciples, and the battle between good and evil (Goku vs Piccolo) makes it the most satisfying ending for the series imo.

I agree. I was doubtful between 23rd Budokai and Saiyan Arc, but the 23rd fits much better due to having a happier ending, plus ending on the Saiyan Arc would be a waste of Gohan's potential.

Either the 23rd or the Freeza arcs, ending at the Saiyan arc seems retarded and almost like cutting off at Goku beating Piccolo Daimao without people getting revived and the Cell and Boo arcs just felt like the author was running short on ideas.

You could make a good case for the 23rd TB, Freeza and Cell, but honestly if I was given dictatorial power over Z and could substract any part from memory, I would stop the series with the fight against Kid Boo. Just get rid of the 10 year time-skip, scumbag Goku abandoning his family for the random and insignificant village kid, and completely destroy Super entirely. GT can stay because it's kewl. :et

Anything that doesn't involve Boo arc, Super and GT is fine to me.

Anything after Cell regenerates from Galu's Kamehameha is cancer and should be retroactively aborted. :king :king

I'd end it right after the Oolong arc.

I was going to ask if she sounded sarcastic while saying that but then I noticed you aren't Kenshi.

Blowing up Cell's upper body is like breaking a glass. It can launch the pieces so far from the impact zone. So in essence, Cell had some little tiny microbial cells that survived the blast and regenerated. :tapion
