Which gap is greater?

Gap between Gogeta SSJ4 over Goku SSJ4 (Beyond Limits) vs Gap between Gogeta Base (Boo) over Goku Base (Boo)?

The Boo Arc example, most likely. Base Gogeta would be Solar System level via-scaling, whereas Base Goku was at best Small Star level. By comparison, Beyond Limits SS4 Goku and Gogeta aren't several tiers apart when the former's attacks could still be felt by Super Yi Xing Long and the latter's Big Bang Kamehameha didn't oneshot him (and, even assuming Gogeta held back with it based on the Perfect Files statement of the gap between he and Yi, he still wasn't in a tier beyond Universe level). Then again, the difference between any character when getting to Universe level could be logically greater than the Small Star - Solar System level gap.

Probably the GT gap. Fusion is “like” multiplication, so the stronger the fusers, the bigger the multiplier.

Difficult to say since Buu Arc Gogeta never materialised, and GT Gogeta was busy flexing rather than going all out.

If there is a difference, I'd probably lean to GT's gap being the bigger one.
