Whis vs Beerus/Champa/Goku/Vegeta

Is Whis powerful enough to take out this team?

Manga-wise, probably not. Though there's a whopping 50% difference between him and Beerus, the two Super Saiyan Blues ought to not be too far off Beerus/Champa's level, making it a similar situation to Vegeta, Gohan and Kuririn VS Hypothetical 2nd form Freeza.

Anime-wise though, this is basically Whis VS Beerus & Champa, with Goku only being of temporary use with Kaioken x10 and Vegeta being fodder. Whis probably takes this scenario.

Considering how Beerus has his power constantly haxed and Whis is still stronger, then I would say Whis would win. His skills are superior and he has the time mulligan advantage if needed.

Nah Whis loses this. I realize 6 10 15 is no longer used anymore but I still use the gap between Beerus and Whis. Goku and Vegeta together are enough to beat Beerus or at least give him a hard fight. So with Beerus and Champa also in this fight I give the victory to the team.

Wouldn't say it's a retcon as much as it was just Beerus simply lying about his power, as well as a difference between the manga and anime continuity.

Idk. The universe was in danger of being destroyed by their fighting in the events of Super. BoG, not @ all. So there has to be a power increase somewhere from those two events ie retcon. The gaps are still viable though. lol

How are they different continuities if BoG was meant to originally be canon to the source material, that has now been changed following Super.
The events of Super that retell the events of BoG is different to that of BoG.

A retcon and a reboot are two separate things. A retcon would only be so if DBS' continuity was after that of the two films, which it clearly isn't.

I don't think Whis has that huge of a lead on Beerus (though I am aware that could change knowing Super) that with Champa's help couldn't cover. SSB Goku and SSB Vegeta is pretty much fodder as far as I'm concerned, seeing how Champa said he could take the whole universe 6 team.

I say that Team Beerus wins, and if they don't win they at least give Whis a hard fight.
