Freeza. That's why his ego was so damaged when Goku surpassed him. Cell's was too when Gohan surpassed him, but not as much.

Cell was probably used to it since he got surpassed in his last 2 forms. No villain in Z was ever as menacing as Freeza, only Jiren ever seemed as unsurpassable.

Not Saiyan/Freeza arc Vegeta. He was still willing to stoop to dirty tactics like becoming an Oozaru (which had an appearance he hated) and putting sand in his enemies' eyes at the time.

That may be, but he knew when to give up against Goku (even if it took forever to defeat him, LOL). Freeza just kept trying to kill Goku and even went to Earth for revenge. On a side note, this is why I can never imagine Freeza as a Z Fighter, like I mentioned the other day.

He isn't a Z senshi. He was still a villain in DBS: Broly and only joined the heroes' team to get revived and take the Super Dragon Balls. He wasn't fighting for a good cause and admitted he'd go back to his evil ways immediately after being revived (and was not above torturing Cabba and Caulifla).
