Beerus got hit the hardest in this regard. Even though he was a Destroyer of Worlds and is in no way a good person, his character in the movies, though childish, was likable when he wasn't busy killing shit. I was even digging his focus on pressure points to defeat his opponents, showing that despite being almighty and unstoppable, he knew restraint when handling creatures beneath him, showing that he wasn't the kind to kill if he lacked any reason to do so. That and he largely only ever attacked when he was provoked or was defending himself. He would only ever destroy if he found the planet's denizens and luxuries lacking in decency and quality; It was his job more than anything.
Beerus in DBS is currently in a seemingly permanent TrollDick Mode, being as vicious and violent as possible. They even changed him smacking Bulma; The movie, the moment was shocking in its swift indifference, and even then, he showed restraint and only hit her enough to "put the human in its place". Here, he revels in the moment and smacks her so hard, I'm pretty sure her neck is broken. Fuck, even his reason for killing the Saiyans is even more petty than it already was, which I thought was impossible. His finesse is gone along with his laid back attitude; He's no-nonsense in the least likable and interesting way. In fact, he's just straight up a villain now, which is really starting to make me wonder how Champa is supposed to be his evil counterpart if Beerus is a irredeemable fuckwad to begin with.
(Mini-rant on Goku. I don't understand his boasting and faith in his SSJ3 form if he doesn't even have a win under his belt with the form. That and King Kai was clearly hyping up Beerus' strength, and in the movie, Goku was able to respect this. When he fought Beerus, he was slightly boastful by asking if he needed to turn it back, but he had enough respect to go full power right away and went SSJ3 almost instantly in order to show Beerus his best. In DBS, Goku's pride and certainty about his ability to win led to him basically wasting EVERYONE'S time, only to go "wait, there's more!" when Beerus grew tired of him holding back and was packing his bags.)
