Why aren’t Saiya-Jins called Vegeta-Jins?

In the series & in-general in Japan you say where they come from & then Jin (person). Chikyuu-Jin (Earth-Person), Namekku-Jin (Namek-Person), Nihon-Jin (Japan-Person), Deutsch(u/s?)-Jin (German-Person), Amerikka-Jin (America-Person).

But Saiya-Jins are called Saiya-Jins despite coming from Planet-Vegeta. Why? Vegeta is even all-encompassing for naming-conventions in their culture.

Until DB-Super you could have maybe thought Planet-Saiya was the old planet before Planet-Vegeta.

Was planet Sadala confirmed to be the only planet the Saiyans lived on? Maybe there was a planet Saiya before that.

That is indeed possible. I thought since it wasn’t mentioned that that was the only one. Vegeta seems/seemed like a Saiya-Jin historian who seemed to be up on history, but I know Japanese is also very context-based & plural for objects or inanimate objects doesn’t exist so the dialogue might have been left vague in original.

The original Saiyan planet is called Planet Saiya in the GT Perfect Files
