Why did the anime constantly change SSJ hair colour?

I couldn't stand when their hair was almost made to look white.

The whitish hair was a thing in the manga before the anime technically.

It doesn't look as bad in the manga. The anime makes it look like cheap production quality.

I always thought they had yellow hair whenever their aura was showing and white when they were just hangin out.

I was always under the impression that the aura made it brighter. In scenes when they're just standing around, the hair color is more dull and "old," but when they have an aura, it's more yellow-looking. Of course, that could just have been my young mind justifying it. Also depends on the shadowing.

Same as Authority. That's what it looked like to me. It's now in Super where the hair is always a good shade of yellow regardless of the aura.

A mix between each episode having different directors and artists, as well as wanting to give the impression of the brighter yellow representing a full aura.

I actually liked the SSjin colour from Boo arc especially the movies though.
