Why does Piccolo make such dramatic gains?

Why does he get such dramatic gains on Kaio's planet, the 3 year gap, and in the RoSaT? His gains are godly.

I can't explain how the gains in Kaio planet. That was really insane. But as for the 3 years of preparation for the androids I would say that the assimilation with Nail greatly increased the potential of Piccolo. In addition to their potential increased, Piccolo trained with Goku SSJ, which caused him to go into a real rocket.

He received much harder training on Kaio's. The 10x Gravity + Harder Training + Meditation= Ridiculous power-up.

Trained with a Super Saiyan for 3 yrs. I think having Nail apart of him added to his power boost. Just my personal fanon. I personally think this is Piccolo's greatest gain ever because he had to push himself harder than he's ever had.

Trained even harder in the rosat. Being whole and the harshness of the rosat would surely be a perfect place for Piccolo to grow.

Keep in mind that Piccolo was making ridiculous gains even before that. He went from 408 to somewhere around 2.5k or less in a yr. All of this while trying to train a kid with no combat experience. Piccolo's a beast.

He's still below Krillin. Krillin is just a monster.

Note that the largest gains occurred when Piccolo was merged with someone; I think the fusion with Kami increased even more the potential of Piccolo, giving him tremendous gains in Rosat (140x). But after that, his gains of power were much lower. But his increase in the Kaio's planet are unexplained... Evil Vegeta has a good explanation.

Piccolo has huge gains because he knows all of Kami's training techniques, having been apart of him before. That, together with his weighted training clothes and Namekian physiology, let him make good gains when training.

Thing is, they were all able to spar with one another. That's a more effective way of training than alone.

Piccolo trained for six months alone. The remaining time was focused on Gohan.

Assuming Piccolo's training into the Android arc was a 100x gain, then that's only a 4.64x increase a year, which is smaller than his Saiyan arc increase. He also had a Super Saiyan as a sparring partner.

As for Kaio's planet, I have no clue. Maybe he just really upped his weights. I really don't know how to answer this one without saying plot.

I guess his rosat gains are dissmissable, he was plenty stronger than everyone in his go as compared to their's.

Dont have an explanation for kaio's planet but hypothetically his gains might not have to br as big as we might tend to fish out. Even then they should be huge as compared to goku's time there.

Yes most you can attribute Nail and Kamis added existence to his power being a good reason but as ahill said, Kaio gains are stupid.

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned his gains in between birth and the 23rd TB, since he ended up being a god compared to everyone other than Goku at 3 years old. This can be attributed to him having Daimao's essence, though nothing suggests he retained all of his power from birth (other than Viz's translation).

His Kaio gains are too ridiculous to answer with anything other than plot. Let's just say he had the potential to make the bloat, only to a lesser degree than Freeza.

His Artificial Human Arc gains make sense. He was training with an SSJ and had Nail in him to add to his potential.

His post-Rosat gains? ....Kinda debatable tbh. Still nothing on post-Kaio, even at the high end of speculation.

Saiyans Saga-Freeza Saga: King Kai said to Goku that a few days of training on his planet equal to 1000 years
of training on Earth. Goku not having such gains in 6 months can be attributed to him focusing on learning
kaioken and spirit bomb, whereas Piccolo focused on increasing his power level.
Freeza Saga-Androids Saga: Merging with Nail skyrocketed his potential. Also, he had a sparring partner
much stronger than him; in such cases, the weaker partner has the most benefits, whereas the stronger
partner's progress is slowed down, which also explains why Androids Saga Goku was not so different from
his 3 year prior self.

Between the end of Dragon Ball to the start of Dragon Ball Z, Piccolo increase his strength to maybe by a 100 in 5 years. While he trains for 6 months alone then trains Gohan for 5 months, he went from 408 to 3,000.

King Kai's planet training is a insane gain. Despite traveling to his planet, meditation, and mastering 10x gravity. Went from 3,000 to 300,000...

I guess fusing with Nail increases Piccolo's potential. As he went from a little over Freeza's second form to above Yardrat in 3 years.
