If Vegeta didn't hit him with the Final Flash to distract him?

No. If AT wanted to give us the feeling that Gohan would have won on his own, he
wouldn't have given Vegeta that moment in the first place.

I agree. Boy that Final Flash was overpowered.

Had Gohan continued as he was, hell no. Cell was looking to finish it right before Vegeta hit him with the attack.

Had Gohan tapped into his rage burst, Cell would've gotten blown to pieces whether Vegeta intervened or not. That attack completely overpowered Cell and negated his regeneration. I don't think Cell had a chance against that level of power.

Don't call it "that attack", it was obviously Final Flash. :donovan

I definitely agree though. Something I wasn't a fan of was how Gohan was seemingly holding back to protect the planet? Wtf bro. The planet is gone if you don't beat this nigga lol

If Gohan actually bothered to listen to the common sense that Galu of all people was giving him and go all out, he'd win whether or not Vegeta intervened. Him not doing so for such a fixable reason was completely out of character.

If he kept going the way he was though, Cell would've killed him.

I find it hard to believe he was holding back power on purpose still. It makes more sense if he was subconsciously thinking about the planet, but even that is still dumb. If all it took was Gohan raising his voice to activate his power, that's nonsense.

Cell was about to go all out when Vegeta distracted him and Gohan only went all out after that, so no, Cell would win.

No. Gohan was injured and would eventually lose the beam struggle. It was only Vegeta's intervention that caused the victory.

If Gohan was 100% though it would be pretty decisive without Vegetaz

Yeah, I think he was subconsciously holding-back, Super. He thought the power he was using was his best.

Gohan had to turn his brain off in that last moment.

Man this is a nostalgic argument. I think a lot of gets colored in peoples mind by the anime.

Gohan has no problem at all unleashing more power at that exact moment. That's always told me he was consciously holding back even if he said differently to goku. Or that even if he was holding back subconsciously he was able to unleash everything after goku pointed it out.

The distraction was opportune, but not needed provided gohan could always release that much power.

I think he definitely would have won, but it'd have been tougher. Cell got distracted by Vegeta that's why he lost focus on his own KHH, if he kept the focus-up then it'd have been much harder for Gohan to over-come that.
