Bergamo appeared to be absolute trash compared to Base Goku, even though he fought on par with him in their previous battle. And this Bergamo was using his full power this time. This could mean that Goku was holding back against him when he fought him back then. And there are statements of the Trio De Dangers being called ''weak'' by Beerus and even Vegeta himself. Goku was even able to hold all 3 of them off even though Bergamo by himself was supposedly able to give him a run for his money. Plus, there really wasn't any indication that Bergamo was in a totally different dimension compared to his brothers in the most recent episode. He may not be able to solo Z after all.

FP Goku >>> FP Bergamo >> Base Goku (Holding Back) ~ Bergamo (Holding Back)

or...

Goku >= Bergamo?

it may have escaped your notice but this is made by TOEI and Toei lacks logic.Your head is probably going to hurt if you think about Supers powerscaling

Of course he's not. Goku was clearly holding back against Bergamo [before he absorbed Goku's power] and also the Trio De Dangers cannot be sensed. Bergamo's real power in on par with Base Goku at best. Also, Goku trained with Whis in the gravity chamber so that's a boost right there.

Absorbing Goku's power may have been how Goku performed so well, not to mention Goku's bad habit of holding back at the start of a match, even in his base (eg. VS Botamo and 1st form Frost). I wouldn't say Bergamo is leagues behind him though, but there is a noticeable gap between them.
