Smoker vs Caesar fight

Current versions, in a big room like Enies Lobby, where Lucci and Luffy fought. How would this go?

Smoker usually makes lots of smoke to obscure his position, but could Caesar use that against him, by modifiying the gaseous parts of the smoke somehow, to poison smoker? Or what if Caesar removed parts of the smoke - would it no longer be "smoke", so smoker wouldn't be able to control it? Or if he can remove all the gas, it would just leave solid particles can won't obscure where Smoker is?

Can smoker sense and feel via smoke? It seems like he probably can. Can Caesar do the same thing with all gases? What about with smoke?

This is an interesting question. I feel like the only true counter to a logia is sea water (not counting Haki of course). So even if Caesar could control the smoke gas, Smoker should be able to reform somewhere else as it's not like he's restrained in a bubble that Caesar controls.

Caesar was beaten easily by Luffy directly after the time skip. Smoker should be more than capable of putting him down currently.
