Is Strongman a rival to Bear Thief?

I consider them to be equals given their feats, but I've seen others suggest distant rivals. What do you think?

I think I'm ok with them being rivals. I do think Strongman feels a little bit smaller personally, I'd suggest Strongman is like 88% or maybe 90% of Bear Thief.

I dunno from that perspective they look very similar compared to Goku. Bear Thief's head grew to like 10x the size when Goku knocked him out, so it made him look fucking massive.

Maybe equal since Goku being able to finger him was portrayed as how he's gained strength so far beyond the human wall. Before Roshi's training he might can stomp Strongman but not beat him by simply touching him.

Exactly. Strongman is in a way the Chappa of the 21st. He’s there to show how unbelievably powerful Goku had become. I could honestly see him as being ahead of Bear Thief for this reason.

Also, Goku's first fight against the strongman, shows how truly inhumanly powerful he's become. A gigantic circus strongman looking guy gets completely wrecked by a tap. Goku is nowhere near any ordinary level, at least in our world. He's pretty much a god already, which is why Dragonball is so nuts.

Damn, this finger tap feat is really a game changer. It might be the biggest feat in the entire series.

It's same level as finger flick, it's a legit 10 fold gap.
