Apologies if this doesn’t belong here.

So Goku definitely has more trouble with Chichi than he does with King Chapa. He even starts the battle off with a “woah”. Chapa never gets that respect. Of course, Goku still stomped both.

23rd Chichi > 23rd King Chapa

Chichi is unable to see Goku vs Tenshinhan, that was evident when she was surprised that Kulilin and Yamcha could. We also see that Roshi was able to too, since he said that the match wasnt even, Goku wasn’t breathing hard. This Roshi should be the same as his 22nd self

22nd Budokai Roshi > 23rd Chichi > 23rd King Chapa

Didn’t Goku and Vegeta keep up with Dabra’s movements? Sounds like being able to watch isn’t very telling.

Roshi was also incapable of keeping up with Goku's peak Tournament level speed at the end of his match with Kuririn and shocked that Tenshinhan could track where he was. Either Roshi trained after the 22nd TB, or it's an inconsistency.

Guess Roshi's training in secret wasn't Super bullshit after all :troll

Roshi kept up with Galu vs. Cell. There was actually some brilliant set-up to Manly GAINZ Roshi. :troll

And he did it through a TV after the cameraman couldn’t even film the fight, no less.

manly roshi couldn't keep up with goku and ten, guys. roshi noticed they disappeared to him right after they made themselves invisible from using super speed.

but in regards to chi chi, I got a lot of problems with the guidebook numbers in general, but when I see that there just isn't a solid foundation for a certain character's battle power, I flip it over and use the guidebook's scaling. chi chi is given as basically roshi's level there with the difference being a measly 9, so that's just where I place her, generally.

While true, maybe Toriyama just changes his mind on people keeping up and stuff. But this is done in the very same chapter, so I think he thought Roshi > Chichi at the time
