Both Kuririn and Yamcha seemed to hold Weighted Goku's speed on a pedestal, and were shocked when Goku and Tenshinhan both thought of that speed as normal.

Kuririn will lose, but he'll put up a good fight. Probably similar to him vs. Ma Junior (before Jr. powered up)

We actually already saw this fight. Piccolo has a slight advantage and was being lazy, but Krillen was able to manage to put up a fight. Piccolo should be at the same exact power as we saw him last.

I actually have changed my point of view on Piccolo power. He's not even as strong as PD imo.

1) Krillen and Yamcha are not drastically superior to Cyborg Tao.
2) Tien used the same speed against Tao as he did against Goku initially.
3) Tien's Speed = Weighted Goku's Speed = Goku Super God Water Speed
4) Krillen and Yamcha declare Tien is too strong.
5) As soon as Tien ups his speed, they can't see him anymore. Tien was at the brink already.


With these facts laid out, there's no way Initial Piccolo = Piccolo Daimao. Now, after his first power up, I think this is the case.

I think Yamcha and Krillen are around Initial Super God Water Goku. The power that was tooling Initial PD but then almost got wind swept away by FP PD.

It would be speculation to assume he was referring to anything beyond the power he was witnessing, however, as he made no mention to Piccolo holding more reserves of power beyond such actually being shown to him iirc.

Goku is able to tell Tien >> Cyborg Tao long before they ever fight or Tien shows any true ability.

Krillin wins in a close match. He put up a decent fight against Ma-Junior who even at that point was vastly superior to his father in every way even though he was no match for him in the end.

As you can see, Goku is merely going off of what Kami told him 3 years prior, that the new Piccolo has in him stored more power than the original.

Also from a story narrative, it doesn't make sense for Shen and Piccolo to show feats above Goku and Tien. Shen and Piccolo show feats on par with Weighted Goku and Tien's initial fight imo, they are right around the same general area, which shows us how far off Yamcha and Krillen are from Goku's old power.

When Tien increases his speed, it's the biggest power of the tournament thus far, then Goku goes beyond it.

Unweighted Goku >> Tien's Full Speed > Goku's Weighted Speed ~ Shen (vs Yamcha) ~ Piccolo (Powered Up vs Krillen) > Piccolo Initial >>= Krillen/Yamcha
