She is extremely intelligent & practical.

She is extremely intelligent & practical.

Not to anywhere near the extent of her opponents though and certainly not in an actual fight. Her greatest invention was the Time Machine and her's pales in comparison to Farnsworth's in terms of energy and durability (doesn't seem to need recharging and tanked the Big Bang at close range, whereas Bulma's got fried by Base Black) or Rick's manipulation and merging of timelines. Not that it matters when you restricted time travel, but in doing so, Bulma becomes even more irrelevant in this matchup than she already was.

That said, assuming all characters have intel/prep and are therefore bringing their best to the match, The Doctor solos as at their peak, they could fight against the Quantum Archangel after having absorbed the Lux Aetema, a 11-dimensional energy device that underpins a nigh-infinite amount of Multiverses. It's not even close when you bring that kind of power into a match.

Farnsworth VS Rick makes for a far more interesting match. I'd probably say Rick pulls out a win due to having far more cases of manipulating entire Universes, realities and 4-Dimensional tech than Farnsworth's one case, not to mention Rick having a better memory than Farnsworth. Also, Rick's pretty much a Gary Stu, so there's that as well.

So, overall The Doctor >>>>> Rick > Farnsworth >>>>> Bulma

You're thinking about the purely intellectual aspect of the brawl, & each of the 3 characters Rick Sanchez, Farnsworth, & The Doctor, has missed or overlooked some practical element in solving a problem or defeating an enemy.

That would give Bulma an edge.

But having Bulma this can be in the DragonBall section. I was trying to keep a certain theme together.

Then XXX vs XXX wouldn't qualify or this thread would as XXX can be any characters involving any series as the starting post nor thread title places that limit, while this thread clearly involves a DragonBall Super exclusive character in the line up.

The difference is that the XXX thread is more of a game-esque thread that isn't primarily focused on an open discussion on one particular topic. The style of both threads is clearly different and therefore a different set of rules apply for both. Don't know why you're even making a big deal out of this, of all things.

You're thinking about the purely intellectual aspect of the brawl, & each of the 3 characters Rick Sanchez, Farnsworth, & The Doctor, has missed or overlooked some practical element in solving a problem or defeating an enemy.

Even if doing so, trying to apply who's smarter into a brawl situation wouldn't work when 3 of the 4 characters involved are capable of affecting things on a Universal scale, as well as Rick (and maybe Farnsworth) being able to put together hax inventions at a far faster rate than Bulma can. To make things more fair, it would be more appropriate to either give none of the characters intel/prep time, or to change the method they compete in. Either way, a lot more details are needed to make this balance.

Also, what you said applies just as much for Bulma. She never thought of something as simple as wishing for a meteor to destroy or even damage Vegeta and Nappa's pods, or bring up the Mafuba in many situations in DBZ it could've been useful for. It may be possible for her to beat Farnsworth in that regard due to his fluctuating memory, but saying she would trump Rick in that department is a stretch when he can completely destroy the arguments to most he encounters or think many steps ahead of them, such as in the Inception spoof episode or the 1st episode of Season 3.
