You know I recently watched some Boo Saga moments and I got to say the saga wasn't as bad as I remembered. The beginning of the saga was really interesting & kewl. It was very slice of life-ish, but good. You got to see Gohan after 7 years now a grown teenager and see his more regular life when the world isn't at stake or Goku is around to annoy him to train with him. He's kind-of a normal teenager and has his problems, different from other teenagers like trying to seem like a normal teenager, hide his powers but being unsuccessful at that. Which was really funny when he played base-ball with his class. I thought that was funny. :idk :idk :idk

Then the relationships were kewl to see after the time-skip. It was kewl to see Gohan's and young Trunks' relationship for a-bit, considering Gohan also knew another Trunks seven years prior. Was also kewl to see Vegeta's and Gohan's. He wasn't as bad to him anymore, in-fact he gave him advice by telling him that giving-up training even in times of peace isn't a good idea, like an uncle. :mikey :mikey :mikey

The fact that Gohan was oblivious to the fact how ridiculous he looked in the costume, thinking he actually looked kewl in it and everyone looking at him weird for that, including young Trunks who said "No comment" after Gohan asked him what he thought of it was funny.

Goten being oblivious to regular earthlings and how he just blew a Ki-Blast away and said controlling your Ki is like that and seeing Videl's reaction to it was funny.

Goten looking forward to meeting his father was also interesting and how Gohan told him about Goku.

And Vegeta smiling (proudly?) when he saw his son defeat Goku's son at the tournament was kewl.

Once Boo appeared it went down-hill though, other than Vegeta's sacrifice.

The beginning of the Boo saga was kewl.

The plot was the most inconsistent of all the arcs, though I'd say it's character writing was at least far better than the Cell Arc's. Vegeta got at least some minor development rather than going through a complete regression like he did throughout the entirety of the previous arc and Mr. Satan went from being a gag to the most engaging member of the cast; challenging the looming threat of Boo with words and ingenuity rather than asspull power ups. The cast indeed had it's failures such as Shin and Evil/Pure Boo, though the same can easily be said of the Cell Arc. Shin and Future Trunks are basically just the same character, both initially appearing super powerful and being quickly reduced to an incompetent fool when it comes to battle who needs Goku's help to solve their problems, whilst Cell's personality was just as generic as Evil Boo's and not as interesting as Fat Boo's slight internal conflict before the split.

:troll really should've had these two arcs fuse into one.

If you think of Buff Cell, Buff Boo and Kid Boo as the holy trinity of useless retarded villain forms, the two arcs become even more similar than you describe :troll :troll :troll
