Android #19 (initially) vs Mecha Freeza

Ah, the old #19/20 VS Freeza debate with a new shade of paint.

I'd say #19 stomps. I wouldn't discount his durability feats in the same section of the series in which everyone made a big deal about Trunks oneshotting Freeza and Goku implying it'd go the same even if Freeza was at 100%. Piccolo also didn't start to question if the duo were weaker than he anticipated until he fought #20 and brought up that he may have gotten stronger than he realised whilst saying so, suggesting he found nothing underwhelming about #19 from what he'd heard about warriors capable of defeating SSJ Trunks. That said, I'd place pre-absorptions #19 at bare minimum above SSJ Trunks (vs Mecha Freeza), though likely a little weaker than SSJ Yardrat Goku.
Vegeta saying #19 wasn't as terrible as he'd heard does throw a wrench into this, but I'd say that the context of Vegeta's estimations lay in beings capable of killing him and everyone else rather than just those capable of beating Trunks.

19 gets defeated horribly. Even 19 post was considered weaker than the suppressed Freeza Trunks killed, let alone pre vs FP Freeza.

Granted he wasn’t one shoted by Goku, but Goku was so sick he could barely fly without breathing heavily.

Freeza is stronger but his stupid enough to use more power for 19 to absorb it so the latter wins.

And when would that be?

If you're talking about the reverence Piccolo placed in Trunks oneshotting Freeza, not only is there no point of comparison to #19 (and if anything, it'd lie in #19's favour of not being oneshotted by Goku) but it seems more to do with Freeza's reputation than his actual power. Kuririn makes a similar statement when asking Goku how he feels about an opponent stronger than Freeza, despite the fact that Freeza is far from a threat to Goku at that point.

He's probably refering to Kuririn stating this thing (Cell) is beyond Freeza, making no notice of #19 and #20, possibly showing Freeza's more relevant than the fake androids.

There's also Kami, when trying to raise the point on how hopeless the situation is, bringing up Trunks' feat of oneshotting Freeza... wouldn't mentioning Piccolo vs #20 be a better comparison to drive the point home had #20 truly surpassed Freeza?

It's still overall pointless when Freeza was no threat to the current SSJs and the strength of #17 and #18 already surpasses this threshold. Freeza's impact on the series is likely the reason he was mentioned, not to mention Trunks being above Piccolo and killing Freeza being his only feat. I see this as being very much like the statements at the 22nd TB implying Taopaipai was a big deal, despite other feats and statements pointing to the contrary at the time.

I can't really think of a reason why Frieza would win tbh. I'd give it to 19.
